For all those who believe(d) that anything short of being fully compliant and/or being subject to a more beneficial fiscal framework by changing their citizenship, this might serve as a call to action.
The Swiss Tax Administration has begun to publish the names of possible German and other (potential) foreign tax fraudsters on the Internet. Authorities have been overwhelmed with requests for mutual assistance of tax inspectors in these countries and wished to inform those affected in this way about it, reports the Swiss "Sonntagszeitung". The real meaning is accordingly to enable those concerned to appeal against the compromise of their data. Among the names being published are celebrities according to the newspaper.
